Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. This role focuses on the enterprise finance sector. The Senior Systems Engineer will understand customer business drivers and decision-making processes. They will connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes. The candidate will work closely with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth and new business. Role involves:
  • Developing an understanding of customer business drivers.
  • Partnering with account managers and channel partners.
  • Delivering technical product and architecture presentations.
  • Capturing requirements and translating them into solutions.
  • Authoring responses to RFI & RFPs.

Requirements:
  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Superior knowledge of current storage architectures.
  • Familiarity with Linux, NFS file systems, AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, k8s and microservices architectures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • BS in CS, EE or other technical degree.
