BigID, an innovative tech startup specializing in data security and AI data management, is seeking a Service Delivery Engineer to join its expanding Services Team. This role is crucial for the successful setup, integration, and deployment of BigID's discovery tools for customers and implementation partners.This role involves:
- Working closely with client stakeholders to determine technical requirements
- Planning implementation engagements and deploying solution components
- Participating in product configuration to meet client needs
- Engaging with internal and client teams for smooth solution rollout
- Delivering training on relevant technologies
- Collaborating with Engineering and Product Management teams to document product issues and improvements
- Experience in information technology, with 1-2 years in a customer-facing role
- Understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting for Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, and Applications Development
- Experience in problem identification, system architecture, and solution deployment
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes deployments
- Experience with databases like MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and others
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Hadoop (HIVE/Spark)
- Experience with REST API Programming or scripting skills with Java or Python
