Axon is seeking a Strategic Sales Engineer for the European Public Sector, based in Amsterdam. The role involves supporting the sales campaign to communicate the value of and deploy evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions SaaS and on-premise solutions to Public Safety Agencies across Europe. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on facilitating product enhancements and the deployment of Axon Enterprise’s products.

Role involves:

  • Delivering technical presentations and architecture design discussions.
  • Leading RFP/RFI responses and technical workshops.
  • Supporting smooth transition of sales opportunities to delivery.
  • Presenting Axon's technical & business value at industry events.
  • Documenting customer feedback for product management.
  • Executing customer site assessments.

Requirements:

  • A natural enthusiasm for technology and the ability to communicate its value.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel significantly (70%), including internationally.
  • 8+ years' experience as a Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar.
  • Knowledge of digital video, mobile communications, IP Engineering, and SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV systems, VMS, and network technologies.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-a-service platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Fluent in a native language of a supported country and excellent English skills.
  • Effective remote work experience.
