Job Description
xAI is seeking a Software Engineering Specialist to join its Human Data team. This role is crucial for creating data that will train large language models. The specialist will collaborate with technical staff to contribute to datasets used for model training, benchmarking, and overall advancement of xAI's AI systems. This is a fully remote position.Role involves:
  • Curating code examples in Python, JavaScript (including ReactJS), C/C++, and Java.
  • Evaluating and refining AI-generated code.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven coding solutions.
  • Labeling and annotating data in text, voice, and video formats.
  • Recording audio or video sessions.
Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Strong experience in either Python or JavaScript.
  • Solid foundation in software development practices.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on industry experience.
  • Extensive experience with tools and systems such as Databases, SQL, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, gRPC, and AWS.
  • Capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills.
  • Computer capable of running Windows 10 or macOS BigSur 11.0 or later.
  • Own and have reliable access to a smartphone.
