PitchBook is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Product and Engineering team. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful experiences for the data operations team, contributing to the company's success. They will improve the work experience and efficiency of data analysts through well-designed, innovative tools, incorporating AI/ML.
The role involves:
- Utilizing user-centered design and systems thinking to create solutions
- Conducting user research and data analysis to understand user needs
- Partnering with Product Management and Engineering to develop product strategies
- Identifying high-impact user business problems and defining product experience solutions
- Developing journey maps, user flows, and design concepts
- Translating abstract concepts into simple, elegant designs
- Leveraging design systems and interaction patterns
- Monitoring and evaluating design solutions for enhancement
- Driving continuous improvement in work and with product teams
- Contributing to evolving design practices and tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human Centered Design, Psychology, or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Product Design/UX role
- Expert-level knowledge of user-centered design practices
- A portfolio demonstrating design thinking skills and modern design best practices
- Ability to communicate design decisions effectively
- Experience conducting qualitative user research and analyzing user data
- Experience balancing multiple projects and organizing priorities
- Experience leveraging and evolving design systems
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Intellectual curiosity and a collaboration-driven interaction style
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
