Job Description
xAI is seeking an AI Engineer & Researcher to enhance AI systems' ability to understand the universe and assist humanity. The role involves building frameworks to improve reasoning capabilities, distributed reinforcement learning systems, and environments for agents.The engineer will work across the entire stack, focusing on building robust and scalable distributed RL systems, optimizing frameworks for complex inference-time reasoning, and developing environments and harnesses for agents.
Responsibilities:
- Build robust and scalable distributed RL systems
- Optimize frameworks to enable complex inference-time reasoning
- Develop environments and harnesses for agents
Requirements:
- Experience with large-scale reinforcement learning systems
- Designing and implementing distributed systems
- Keeping up with state-of-the-art RL and inference time compute algorithms
