Metacore, a mobile game company known for Merge Mansion, is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join their Central Business & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling teams to focus on value creation. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure data is meticulously modeled, accurate, and contributes to informed decision-making.

Role involves:

• Collaborating with Game Development, Marketing, and Finance teams to design and deliver analytics solutions.
• Developing and maintaining a scalable cloud data warehouse using dbt and Looker.
• Establishing a well-defined semantic layer that unifies business logic across data products.
• Owning the data lifecycle from planning tracking to creating self-serve analytics products.
• Optimizing and automating data pipelines and workflows to speed time-to-insight.
• Ensuring data quality and contributing to the data platform's strategic roadmap.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with modern data tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Looker.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and a proven track record in data analytics or engineering.
• Robust data modeling skills and understanding of industry-standard methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stakeholder-focused mindset and skills in translating business needs into scalable data models.
