Job Description
Human Re Sources is seeking a Creative Director to join their team in Los Angeles. The Creative Director will play a crucial role in developing artists’ creative vision, commissioning innovative partners, and bringing a fresh perspective to marketing campaigns. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and A&R.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with client/artist team to understand their creative goals
- Develop a written brief/pitch to be used for commissioning creative resources
- Stay abreast of industry trends and tech advancements, innovating and pushing creative boundaries
- Draft and leverage client brief to outsource/interface with directors, photographers, designers, creatives, production teams
- Drive the client’s creative goals for album rollouts
- Manage creative timelines and budgets allotted to album rollouts
- Serve as main point of contact for other departments within Human Re Sources
- Work closely with producers and artists, translating an artists’ creative vision into tangible assets
- Track invoices for all creative hiring
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and impact among the HRS team
Requirements:
- Fluent with video, photo, and design verbiage, and production costs
- Strong creative network and active in the creative world
- Operational skillset as well as a creative vision
- Great sense of culture and taste
- Strategic in communication, delivery, and client relations
- Comfortable in a client facing role
- Ability to manage and execute any creative idea
