Senior Frontend Engineer

Flagstone International, a Jersey-based FinTech company, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in an Agile software team, promoting best practices and automation to ensure software quality. This position involves collaborating on new features and delivering a high-quality, resilient product, while also contributing to the improvement of software engineering processes and influencing the software architecture.This role is fully remote within the UK, but will involve close collaboration with the team in Jersey.What this role involves:

• Playing an active role in an Agile software team.
• Fostering best practices and automation for software quality.
• Working on new features and delivering a high-quality product.
• Improving software engineering processes and practices.
• Influencing the software architecture.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Typescript, ReactJS, Styled Components, Tan Stack, Redux, CSS, Storybook, Unit Testing and Cypress tests.
• Experience working on multiple projects and following consistent development practices.
• Confident verbal and written communication.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability and enthusiasm to coach and guide junior team members.
