Zip is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to drive top-line growth by owning and expanding key merchant relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth, retention, and maintenance of a defined portfolio, developing and executing account and vertical strategies to drive growth within the category.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- Negotiate complex commercial terms with key decision makers.
- Develop and execute account and vertical strategies.
- Identify partner needs and proactively seek opportunities to improve their business.
- Collaborate internally to deliver partner objectives.
- Monitor trends and competitor activity.
- Plan and prepare regular business reviews with partners and key stakeholders.
- Drive strategic and scalable problem solving.
Requirements:
- 5-8+ years’ experience in any consumer brand business; financial services or technology
- Relevant degree in marketing or business is desirable.
- Exceptional planning and time management skills.
- Solid understanding of the credit, payments, eCommerce, and Retail markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
