Zip is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to drive top-line growth by owning and expanding key merchant relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth, retention, and maintenance of a defined portfolio, developing and executing account and vertical strategies to drive growth within the category.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms with key decision makers.
  • Develop and execute account and vertical strategies.
  • Identify partner needs and proactively seek opportunities to improve their business.
  • Collaborate internally to deliver partner objectives.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity.
  • Plan and prepare regular business reviews with partners and key stakeholders.
  • Drive strategic and scalable problem solving.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years’ experience in any consumer brand business; financial services or technology
  • Relevant degree in marketing or business is desirable.
  • Exceptional planning and time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the credit, payments, eCommerce, and Retail markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
