Mobile Engineer (Flutter) at In The Pocket

In The Pocket, a leading European digital product studio, is seeking a Flutter Mobile Developer in Bucharest, Romania, to actively build some of the best mobile applications. The candidate will collaborate within an inspiring multidisciplinary team of exceptional mobile developers.

What this role involves:

• Contributing to the continuous development of products.
• Developing new user stories and fixing bugs.
• Creating & reviewing pull requests.
• Documenting work (code comments, readme, confluence).
• Performing research and making suggestions for product improvements.
• Communicating clearly about progress.
• Ensuring the product meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Producing clean, readable, and testable code.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Flutter.
• Ability to write well-documented and clean Dart code.
• Affinity for maintaining and evolving a codebase to nourish high-quality code.
• Familiarity with state management like MVVM, module-based architecture.
• Ability to consume a GraphQL or REST API.
• Ability to persist data across app sessions using key-value storage, file storage, and database storage.
• Good understanding of reactive programming using RxDart.
• Familiarity with writing tests for the application: unit tests, widget tests, and integration tests.
• Familiarity with one or more CI/CD environments: Jenkins, Gitlab, Github, etc.
