In The Pocket is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to lead multiple teams in delivering best-in-class software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and an exceptional eye for detail. This role involves managing relationships with external stakeholders and ensuring collaboration on quality standards.

What the role involves:

  • Prioritizing requirements based on business value and risk.
  • Designing and leading testing strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Providing quality metrics and dashboards.
  • Implementing efficient release management processes.
  • Resolving and documenting complex incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a management or lead position.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
  • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage team dynamics and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
