Noora Health is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of its INGO in Bangladesh. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting, budgeting, auditing, and ensuring internal controls are in place. The Finance Manager will support decision-making by providing accurate financial data and ensuring compliance with donor regulations and government policies.
Role Involves:
- Handling and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and financial functions.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitoring and tracking budget variances.
- Ensuring timely compliance with statutory provisions.
- Supervising finance team members and consultants.
- Conducting periodic training sessions.
- Facilitating annual statutory audits.
Requirements:
- Master’s in Accounting/Finance; CA, CMA, ACCA, or CPA preferred.
- 8–10 years in financial management and accounting, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in NGOs/INGOs or donor-funded projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in maintaining financial transactions in computerized accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of GoB Tax and VAT compliance, NGO Affairs Bureau regulations, and donor guidelines.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, statutory audits, and team capacity building.
- Fluency is English (both written and spoken)
