Solutions Architect, Security Specialist

Job Description

Elastic is seeking a Security Specialist Solutions Architect to serve as a technical authority for its security solutions. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the sales team, fellow Solutions Architects, customers, partners, and the community. This role involves extensive knowledge of security operations, gained either from direct experience in the field or from pre-sales roles selling to security operations.

The Solutions Architect will demonstrate passion for continuous improvement, proactively advancing themselves and the team through learning, sharing, and challenging the status quo.

What the role involves:

• Serving as the security solution product specialist.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Elastic Security products and solutions.
• Demonstrating the value of Elastic's offerings in sales meetings and at events.
• Growing the security skills and expanding the knowledge of colleagues.
• Demonstrating thought leadership through blogging, crafting collateral, and speaking at events.
• Becoming a trusted advisor to customers and the community.
• Communicating needs, gaps, and improvements to Elastic's engineering and leadership teams.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience of success in security operations.

• The ability to inspire and encourage groups, both large and small!
• A willingness to travel 30% within region, as well as occasionally internationally.
