Forter is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer II to join its Billing Platform team. This role is crucial for shaping the infrastructure that drives billing processes and impacts Forter’s revenue and growth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing and building robust, scalable systems.He will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and resilient systems that handle high-volume data.
• Taking ownership of projects from concept to production, ensuring high quality.
• Working on data-driven initiatives to improve system performance and billing accuracy.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to define features and scope.
• Fostering best practices and mentoring team members.

Requirements include:

• 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining production systems.
• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Proven track record in leading technical projects.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Proficiency in storage solutions like MySQL, Snowflake, and Redis.
• Experience with AWS or other public cloud services.
• A proactive attitude and a passion for providing technical solutions.
