Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its MDM team in Prague, Czech Republic. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and expanding data assets to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and reporting.This role involves:
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs.
- Developing solutions to manage core master data and ensuring data quality.
- Designing, building, and launching new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
- Mentoring others around efficient queries and data management.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with data quality management capabilities and analysis.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Airflow.
- Experience with stream-processing systems like Spark-Streaming and Kafka.
