Job Description
Appian is seeking a Solutions Success Manager to focus on insurance solutions. This role is based in McLean, Virginia. The Solutions Success Manager will work closely with the Solution Owner and will be pivotal in gathering business requirements. This position requires a strong background in the insurance industry, an understanding of the software development lifecycle, and excellent communication skills. The role involves contributing to go-to-market efforts and supporting Appian customers and partners.
Role involves:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications.
- Creating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Communicating requirements conflicts and assist in prioritizing requirements.
- Managing requirement traceability and changes.
- Conducting market research.
- Facilitating the execution of solutions strategy.
- Facilitating Partner enablement and training.
- Providing training, implementation, and product support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience working in an enterprise software business analyst position in the Insurance vertical.
- Experience working in an enterprise software pre sales position in the Insurance vertical (Business Process Management Platforms, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platform experience preferred)
- Experience with insurance software solutions (Guidewire, Duck Creek, ALIP, FAST etc.).
- Insurance industry qualification (e.g., CPCU, LOMA).
- Willingness to travel 10% to customer locations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
