CookUnity is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their Horizon Squad. The Horizon team is responsible for building and maintaining end-to-end solutions that bridge the gap between an intuitive frontend experience and a robust, scalable backend.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Horizon Squad, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will collaborate with a Product Manager and a designer to shape the product strategy, define OKRs, and chart the roadmap. This position offers an opportunity to drive meaningful impact within the team and organization, contributing your expertise to guide product's growth and success.

The role involves:

  • Owning the design and implementation of platform features within our JavaScript stack.
  • Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance.
  • Contributing to the adoption of strong software architecture and best practices.
  • Being part of the code review process and helping to mentor other engineers.
  • Partnering with members of Product, UX, and other teams to refine and improve our product.
  • Helping to have higher levels of uptime & supporting the on-call rotation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, web apps.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests.
  • Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
  • Understanding of how to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Advanced level of English.
