Job Description
CookUnity is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join their Revenue Engine Squad. This role involves leading technical initiatives, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers as the company scales its revenue infrastructure. The engineer will work across both backend and frontend, addressing challenges related to pricing, payments, refunds, and order finalization.
The Staff Full-Stack Engineer will design scalable services and build high-performing user interfaces for payment and account management, as well as mentor junior engineers. They will collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to improve mission-critical systems, impacting CookUnity’s revenue operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, end-to-end solutions across backend services and front-end applications.
- Develop features, such as wallet, credits, payments experiences.
- Define and drive architectural improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, and BizOps teams.
- Mentor and guide other engineers.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies.
- Improve system observability, performance, and resilience.
- Contribute as a hands-on engineer.
- Lead technical planning and project execution.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in frontend and backend development, with expertise in Kotlin, React, Next.js, and SQL databases.
- Experience in architecting and scaling complex backend systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining front-end applications with React, Next.js, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of system performance and scalability best practices.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding engineers.
