Capco is seeking a Project Manager/PMO to drive and govern the Oracle Java FFG program for a bank in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and/or PMO, leading technical implementations. They should also have experience in people management within a consulting/banking environment and accountability for complex projects.

The Project Manager/PMO will be responsible for evaluating Java installations, determining application dependencies, and coordinating with app and platform teams for removals. They will also need to perform and coordinate change management and administrative tasks within Azure DevOps and maintain governance through weekly reporting.

Furthermore, the Project Manager/PMO will oversee technical tasks such as ServiceNow CMDB mapping, software utilization analysis, and desktop/laptop software evaluation. Support Budget for the year, prepare dashboards, govern Clarity, handle tools and process governance and QPR/ Refinement forum for FFG initiatives across TTO.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and govern Oracle Java FFG program
  • Evaluate Java installations and determine application dependencies
  • Coordinate change management and administrative tasks within Azure DevOps
  • Oversee technical tasks such as ServiceNow CMDB mapping
  • Support Budget for the year, prepare dashboards, govern Clarity
  • Identify underutilized software to optimize costs
  • Collaborate with license management teams
  • Provide recommendations for alternate, cost-effective technologies
  • Engage with Product Owners, Business and Technology during MPR/ QPRs
  • Manage the overall budget allocation
  • Drive weekly governance, reporting, and compliance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in project management and/or PMO
  • Experience leading technical implementations (e.g., Java/Oracle/etc.)
  • People management experience in consulting/banking environment
  • Accountability for complex projects
  • Strong experience reporting to and dealing with senior internal stakeholders
  • Clarity knowledge is compulsory
