Senior Test Engineer (Remote, Italy) at Nearform

Nearform is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their team. This is a remote opportunity for candidates based in Italy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test suites and conducting manual testing to ensure product quality. The Senior Test Engineer will work within Development Teams to ensure testing is considered at all levels of development.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing automated test suites.
• Conducting manual testing to ensure product quality.
• Working within Development Teams to ensure testing is considered at all levels of development.
• Translating product requirements into testable technical solutions.
• Integrating automated tests/test process into CI pipelines.
• Influencing change in the test process within an agile team.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python for test script writing.
• Experience with Pytest.
• Experience extending and improving automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience writing test scripts for various types of testing.
• Experience working with cross functional teams developing tests with focus on delivering quality agile products.
• Experience in building and improving automated test frameworks.
• Experience in integrating automated tests/test process into CI pipelines.
• Experience in influencing change in the test process within an agile team.
• Familiarity with containerized environments- desirable.
• Exposure to ML models, data pipelines, or AI-driven applications - desirable.
