Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their Marketing and Communications team in London. This role focuses on developing and implementing the company’s media-relations efforts and outreach in Europe and the UK, while also supporting KBRA’s global media strategy. The Associate Director will carry out proactive communications campaigns to increase KBRA’s profile in the European media, cultivate media relationships, and monitor KBRA’s interactions with the media, including developing monthly reports and metrics for executives.
Responsibilities include: - Building relationships with key media contacts.
- Designing and implementing external media initiatives.
- Acting as the main Communications partner and media counsel to analytical and executive staff.
- Collaborating with various departments to design media pitches and strategies.
- Arranging media interviews for analytical staff and managing/monitoring interviews.
- Maintaining and tracking all engagement activity and media metrics.
- Publishing media articles to the company’s website and highlighting on social media.
- Developing written materials including press releases.
- Preparing monthly and annual reports tracking all media coverage.
- Coordinating with Marketing on preparing press releases announcing European-based industry awards.
Requirements: - 4 to 10 years experience in journalism, communications, or public relations with a focus on Fixed Income/Credit space.
- A network of media and/or press contacts.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong social media content creation skills.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
