Senior DevOps Engineer at Constructor TECH

Constructor TECH seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. Constructor TECH is an all-in-one platform for education and research, offering solutions for teaching and administration, learning, and research. The company's headquarters is situated in Switzerland, with entities in Germany, Bulgaria, Serbia, Turkey, and Singapore. They do not offer visa sponsorship to Switzerland, Singapore, or Germany.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing, constructing, and maintaining robust infrastructure code, overseeing system performance, and ensuring maximum system availability. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to enhance products and provide scalable cloud-based educational SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, construct, and maintain robust, reusable, and reliable infrastructure code.
• Oversee system performance and resolve any issues.
• Guarantee maximum availability of systems and infrastructure.
• Work closely with engineering teams to enhance and optimize products.
• Provide dependable and scalable cloud-based educational SaaS solutions to clients.
• Create automation, monitoring, deployment, configuration, and service discovery tools and services.
• Regularly assess the software security landscape, identifying potential enhancements with minimal disruption.
• Conduct vulnerability scans on source code and deployments, and coordinate with development teams on remediation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role for 5+ years.
• Experience with Kubernetes (k8s), Docker and tools such as FluxCD, Kyverno, Istio, werf, calico, sops
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Experience with provisioning tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible
• Solid experience with Linux-based OS and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
