Facility Shift Manager

Job Description

Yondr is seeking a driven and experienced Facility Shift Manager to monitor all assets at the data center, adhering to Yondr's maintain and operate model. This role involves partnering with the facility management service provider and acting as a point of contact between the client and operations, ensuring all work aligns with site policies and procedures. The position is shift-based, 24/7, requiring coverage for peers as needed.Responsibilities:

• Working 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-3-off, 3-on-4-off schedule.
• Escalating and communicating appropriately as incident commander.
• Assisting the service provider and contractors in Root Cause Analysis of incidents.
• Assisting in scheduling maintenance and various projects.
• Tracking compliance and progress of maintenance tasks.
• Providing oversight of planned and unplanned activities.
• Holding vendors accountable for meeting SLAs and KPIs.
• Providing turnover reports at the end of every shift.
• Providing feedback and suggestions for improvement to the Critical Services Manager.
• Assisting with continuous improvement efforts to increase sustainability.
• Performing audits on all systems.
• Ensuring the service provider shift teams comply with maintenance standards.
• Completing all required training.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Center Engineering Operations professional.
• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls systems.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS, navigating and manipulating graphical interface.
• Vendor management experience.
• Experience reading and understanding one-line diagrams.
• Experience authoring and approving change management procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and prioritize in a fast-paced complex environment.
