Senior Investment Associate

Job Description

Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Senior Investment Associate for their Asia Solutions team. The role focuses on understanding market drivers and developing systematic trading strategies and investment advice for clients. He will helps Bridgewater Associates expand its understanding of how economies work and distill that understanding into systematic trading strategies.

Role Involves:

• Overseeing a multi-asset macro portfolio.
• Conducting systematic analyses on market actions.
• Providing perceptions on world events and connecting them to portfolio impact.
• Independently driving initiatives to improve the quality, reliability, and efficiency of our systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant field (markets / investing, quantitative analysis, etc)
• Deep interest and experience in investing in Asian markets
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• High integrity and culture fit
• Agility; capable of adapting to unexpected changes and rapidly evolving situations
• Fluency in Mandarin and English
• A high degree of proficiency with Python & Excel; Scala nice to have
