The 2025 Cult Summer Internship - Web Developer

Job Description

Cult is seeking a Web Developer Intern to join their team for a 10-week summer program in their newly renovated NYC office. The intern will work with the digital experience team, assisting with design, edits, and improvements for web-based systems. The intern will also explore emerging tools like AI for tech-based tasks.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and fellow interns from various agency departments to create an end-of-internship project. The intern will also have the opportunity to present the group's work to the agency or a real client.

Responsibilities:

• Create and Update Responsive Emails: Design and maintain email templates using the MJML framework.
• Update Animated Banners: Work on animated banners using GSAP.
• Update Responsive Websites: Keep websites responsive and user-friendly by updating content, fixing issues, and adding new features using Handlebars and Node.js.
• Collaborate closely with fellow Interns from other agency departments.

Requirements:

• College freshman-senior (or recent grad).
• Availability to work on-site in NYC office three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
• Flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
• Availability for the entire 10-week program.
