Instructor Manager at General Assembly

General Assembly is seeking an Instructor Manager to support high quality learning experiences for their GA Bahrain team. The role involves hiring, coaching, and supporting instructional teams, ensuring classrooms are staffed with qualified industry professionals. This position requires close partnership with local and global teams to deliver effective instruction. The company's success depends on the passion and quality of its instructional teams, which are made up of top industry professionals from different fields, including data science, software development, and design.

Role involves:

• Staffing instructional teams with diverse talent.
• Onboarding new instructors to ensure their success.
• Coaching and retaining instructors through meaningful relationships.
• Monitoring course quality and progress through data analysis.

Requirements:

• Experience managing multiple team members, preferably in education or corporate training.
• Experience leading hiring processes, including sourcing and interviewing candidates.
• Experience delivering and facilitating learning experiences for adult learners.
• Ability to effectively evaluate instruction and provide actionable coaching.
• Experience in discussing and training educators in conversations about the life, and culture in Bahrain
