Job Description

An Admissions Specialist is needed for General Assembly, a company focused on transforming careers through education in web development, data, design and business. The role involves driving revenue and ensuring potential students understand what it takes to be successful in a General Assembly course. This is a contract and on-site role.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the student application process, including scheduling and conducting interviews.
  • Providing guidance to prospective students.
  • Communicating the value of a General Assembly experience.
  • Proactively managing and responding to a high volume of prospective students through various channels.
  • Achieving measurable results against funnel management and activity metrics
  • Owning targets and manage a robust pipeline of prospective students in Salesforce
  • Continuously learning and mastering the course catalog
  • Working cross-functionally with different regional teams
  • Hosting and leading information sessions and sales events

Requirements:

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • 1-2 years proven experience in consultative sales, consumer sales, enterprise sales/partnerships, admissions or recruiting.
  • Competitive personality.
  • Exceptional closing skills.
  • Welcoming, understanding, and empathetic approach to leads.
  • Goal-oriented with experience exceeding quotas.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others.
  • Ability to tie an individual’s wants and needs into a logical solution.
