This role is crucial for identifying and closing revenue-driving opportunities and fostering business growth. The candidate will leverage Zip's product suite and manage a pipeline of merchants.Role involves:
- Becoming a specialist within designated verticals, growing Zip’s Product Suite.
- Implementing vertical and strategic sales plans.
- Identifying and prioritizing business opportunities.
- Managing targets and implementing gap management strategies.
- Leveraging industry research to provide impactful value to merchants.
- Completing financial modeling and pricing for new deals.
- Building presentations for key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
- Collaborating with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and GTM launch plans.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in selling products or tech.
- Large Enterprise experience with long sales cycles.
- Experience in FinTech, Financial Service, or Payments (desirable).
- Track record in achieving business development targets and customer relationship building.
- Commercial acumen, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and risk management skills.
