Zip Co Limited is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join its Commercial team. This role is crucial for identifying and closing revenue-driving opportunities and fostering business growth. The candidate will leverage Zip's product suite and manage a pipeline of merchants.Role involves:
  • Becoming a specialist within designated verticals, growing Zip’s Product Suite.
  • Implementing vertical and strategic sales plans.
  • Identifying and prioritizing business opportunities.
  • Managing targets and implementing gap management strategies.
  • Leveraging industry research to provide impactful value to merchants.
  • Completing financial modeling and pricing for new deals.
  • Building presentations for key decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and GTM launch plans.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in selling products or tech.
  • Large Enterprise experience with long sales cycles.
  • Experience in FinTech, Financial Service, or Payments (desirable).
  • Track record in achieving business development targets and customer relationship building.
  • Commercial acumen, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and risk management skills.
