Job Description
General Assembly is seeking a UXDI Instructor Lead to guide students through its User Experience Design Immersive course. The instructor will play a crucial role in transforming driven novices into empowered designers. This is a temporary, full-time role where the instructor will deepen their design skills and foster a supportive community. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching and facilitating daily classes
- Preparing lessons using existing curriculum
- Providing feedback to students
- Working with GA staff to support student needs
- Guiding final project development
- Facilitating a positive classroom environment
Requirements include:
- Eagerness to shape future UX designers
- 2+ years of UX design experience
- Fluency in Figma, UX Process, User Research, and more
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience
- Practical experience within the last five years
- Good moral character and decision-making skills
- Strong language, math, reasoning, and computer skills
