UXDI Instructor Lead

Job Description

General Assembly is seeking a UXDI Instructor Lead to guide students through its User Experience Design Immersive course. The instructor will play a crucial role in transforming driven novices into empowered designers. This is a temporary, full-time role where the instructor will deepen their design skills and foster a supportive community. Responsibilities include:

• Teaching and facilitating daily classes
• Preparing lessons using existing curriculum
• Providing feedback to students
• Working with GA staff to support student needs
• Guiding final project development
• Facilitating a positive classroom environment

Requirements include:

• Eagerness to shape future UX designers
• 2+ years of UX design experience
• Fluency in Figma, UX Process, User Research, and more
• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant experience
• Practical experience within the last five years
• Good moral character and decision-making skills
• Strong language, math, reasoning, and computer skills
