Sojern is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join its global design team. The role involves shaping the future of Sojern’s Travel Marketing Platform. The UX/UI Designer will collaborate with worldwide teammates to deliver data-driven solutions for travel marketers.

The designer will enhance the user experience of platforms, dashboards, and automated reporting tools. The user will work directly with customers, conducting interviews and usability testing to gather feedback. By partnering with Product, Product Marketing, Client Success, and Engineering teams, the designer will bring innovative ideas to life.

Role involves:

  • Designing user-centric features and workflows for Sojern’s internal and external platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Designing experiences aimed to improve user activation, retention, and expansion metrics
  • Partnering with Product and Commercial teams to design features that support pricing tiers, packaging strategies, and role-based access control
  • Developing engaging first-time user experiences and self-service onboarding flows
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma
  • Conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys
  • Developing scalable, responsive designs optimized for complex data visualization and reporting interfaces
  • Maintaining and enhancing Sojern’s product design system
  • Advocating for accessibility and inclusivity throughout the design process
  • Collaborating with Engineers to ensure seamless implementation and adherence to design specifications
  • Analyzing usage metrics, user feedback, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Presenting designs and findings to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively

Requirements:

  • An online portfolio of relevant work examples
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably focused on SaaS platforms, subscription-based products, or enterprise applications
  • Expertise in Figma and a strong understanding of its features
  • Experience designing in-app messaging workflows, product tours, and data-heavy interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing
  • Solid understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., churn, retention, engagement)
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for product design
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
