Job Description

Appian is seeking an enthusiastic Appian Developer, internally called "Technical Consultant", to join their Customer Success team in Mexico City. The successful candidate will engage with customers to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, aiding companies in their digital transformation. This role involves working within an agile environment to understand client's business processes and technical needs, launch new relational data models, and develop APIs to integrate with multiple systems. The candidate will collaborate with client's technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle and empower clients to become self-sufficient. Employees hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week.

The role involves:

• Defining business processes and gathering functional and technical system requirements.
• Developing software solutions on the Appian platform.
• Working within an agile environment.
• Launching new relational data models in production.
• Developing APIs to integrate with multiple systems.
• Collaborating with client's technical teams and business users.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience with hands-on software development or technical consulting
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Experience working with relational databases and database design/data modeling.
• SQL skills (writing queries, joins, views, etc).
• Excellent communication skills and passion for technology.
• Prior Appian development experience strongly preferred.
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field/degree.
• Willingness to travel; 20% to support customer engagement.
