The Principal Engineer will be at the heart of Addepar's industry-leading wealth management platform, driving innovation and reliability for clients. They will play a key role in breaking apart monolithic applications into scalable microservices as Addepar modernizes its platform. What This Role Involves

• Driving the evolution of the Core Product Platform by creating a technical vision.
• Evaluating and driving strategic business and technology decisions.
• Defining architectural patterns and design principles.
• Collaborating with engineering leads to define and implement platform architecture.
• Evolving Addepar’s product and engineering reality to match client implementations.
• Being a technical thought leader and sharing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate commercial experience.
• Highly collaborative and an agent of change.
• Finance experience a big plus.
