Wellhub is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Technology and Product Team in Brazil. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving services, with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across different countries and cultures.

Role Involves:
  • Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving backend services.
  • Building integrations among services and tools.
  • Supporting existing systems to enhance functionality and increase scale.
  • Working in an agile environment.
  • Collaborating with front-end teams.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex modern web applications.
  • Experience in Cloud-based architectures (AWS / GCP).
  • Experience in developing RESTful web services.
  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++/etc.), with Golang/Kotlin as a plus.
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in English.
