Wellhub is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join its Partner Content (CODE) team in Portugal. This role focuses on developing and implementing Generative AI-based applications. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions and ensure seamless integration with other software systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing generative AI-based applications.
- Developing and optimizing RAG systems to enhance AI model performance.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Go, Kotlin, Java, C or C++.
- Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Strong communication (both in English and Portuguese) and teamwork skills.
