Wellhub is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their Wellbeing Access team in Portugal. The company is dedicated to corporate wellness, connecting employees to fitness, mindfulness, and other health resources. The role focuses on developing and enhancing the platform that integrates benefits into employees' lives across various companies. The engineer will collaborate within an agile team to improve tools and applications, ensuring they meet the needs of both internal teams and external clients.

Role Involves:

  • Driving the frontend architecture of the platform.
  • Supporting existing systems and enhancing functionality.
  • Ensuring successful deliveries and promoting technical health.
  • Writing maintainable code and tests.
  • Participating in incident resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Mentoring other developers.
  • Ensuring high-quality code through practices like code review and pair programming.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with modern component-oriented frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Expertise in using state-of-the-art JS ecosystem tooling such as Typescript / GraphQL / CSS-in-JS.
  • Experience designing and developing modern web applications.
  • Experience developing or working with shared Design Systems.
  • Strong CSS skills.
  • Openness to new experiences and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work within an agile environment.
  • Understanding of various testing methodologies.
  • Belief in automation.
  • Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Value-driven decision-making based on facts and data.
  • Prior experience with React.js, Typescript, and CI/CD.
