Job Description
Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join its Wellz (New Ventures) team in Brazil. Wellhub is a corporate wellness platform connecting employees to fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition, and sleep resources. The Wellz team focuses on developing a mental health solution that delivers customized content and online therapy.

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will contribute to the partner's experience, where therapists interact with users, manage therapy sessions, and track mental health. They will ensure successful project delivery, promote technical health, and improve services focusing on performance and stability. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining services, as well as integrating with third-party APIs and tools.

Role Involves:
  • Ensuring successful delivery of projects.
  • Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining services.
  • Building integration with 3rd party API and tools.
  • Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Supporting existing systems.
  • Meeting with the business and product team to review the design of the product.
  • Creating new services/products and capabilities to meet emerging needs.

Requirements:
  • Backend experience in designing and developing complex modern service applications.
  • Experience with either Node.js or Golang.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL technologies, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience with object-oriented or functional design principles and RESTful web services.
