Wellhub is seeking a Mid-level React Native Software Engineer to join their CARE team in Portugal. The CARE team focuses on generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) + LLMs fine-tuning, and data pipelines. The role involves defining the architecture of systems and integrations, ensuring successful deliveries, and promoting the long-term technical health of journeys. The Software Engineer will be responsible for setting a high bar for code quality standards, spreading development best practices, building reusable code, taking part in incident resolution, and following up on engineering and product KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Consolidated experience in web/mobile development
  • Experience with ReactJS/React Native ecosystem
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking
  • Experienced in implementing prototypes and in practices and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for rolling out features to production
  • Proficient in a broad range of common UX patterns
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with microservices and high-volume distributed systems
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Prior experience in React Native and GraphQL are mandatory requirements
