Job Description
Flo, a leading health app, is seeking a Senior/Medical Advisor to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining medical and scientific credibility across the platform. The Medical Advisor will work within the Health stream, focusing on OBGYN, and collaborate cross-functionally with product development teams. They will provide recommendations on feature development from a user journey and medical credibility perspective, serving as the medical representative for owned feature groups.
Role Involves:
  • Ensuring medical accuracy and safety of Flo’s mobile app.
  • Providing expert input on medical risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with Product, Data Science, Content, and Analytics teams to develop AI-based features.
  • Supporting decisions requiring clinical expertise and working with Flo’s Expert Board.
  • Performing medical reviews of health-related content.
  • Bringing medical research and new ideas to the product team.
  • Auditing medical accuracy and stewarding clinical safety.
  • Monitoring and contributing to the clinical governance process.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree and experience as an obstetrician / gynaecologist with substantial training – UK ST3+
  • Proven commercial experience with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent command of English (C2 level or higher).
  • Strong understanding of clinical safety, medical governance, and regulatory requirements.
