Verkada is seeking an IT Operations Specialist for their Taipei office on a 6-month contract basis. This role is crucial for providing technical and operational support to employees in the JAPAC region, ensuring high IT standards are maintained. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can adeptly solve technical and operational challenges. This position requires a 3-day in-office presence, with the applicant residing in Taiwan and possessing the right to work without sponsorship.Verkada needs someone who:
  • Troubleshoots IT issues and researches solutions.
  • Manages access to SaaS applications.
  • Procures and maintains IT equipment and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborates on cross-functional projects.
  • Supports users in Taipei and the JAPAC region.
  • Manages office moves and expansions.
Requirements for this role include:
  • Living in Taipei or able to commute.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Experience administering G-Suite, Okta, Zoom, Slack, etc.
  • Familiarity with AV hardware/software and general networking knowledge.
  • Flexibility to address urgent issues outside standard hours.
  • Familiarity with asset management and device policies around sensitive travel.
