Semgrep is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Code team. This role involves reinforcing, empowering, and growing a team of engineers focused on improving Semgrep's SAST product. The Senior Engineering Manager will foster a culture of innovation, build a high-performing team, and make strategic decisions to balance short and long-term growth.Semgrep is funded by top investors, including Felicis Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Menlo Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.
Role Involves: - Creating a product roadmap in collaboration with product and design partners.
- Prioritizing and directing the team's schedule.
- Coaching and mentoring engineers.
- Building a trusting environment that rewards creativity and responsibility.
- Hiring diverse and high-level technical talent.
Requirements: - Four or more years of experience leading software engineering teams.
- Strong foundation in product development.
- Familiarity with agile development principles.
- Desire to help engineers grow through coaching and mentorship.
- Ability to work hours compatible with US west-coast (PST) and Western Europe (EU).
