Sony Music is seeking a motivated Finance Controller to manage the management and statutory reporting of its entities in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Finance Controller Benelux will be central to the company's financial reporting, responsible for the administration and reporting of both monthly and annual results. The role involves close collaboration with various departments within Sony Music Benelux, international finance stakeholders, and diverse Financial Shared Service Centers. The Finance Controller Benelux will report directly to the Finance Director Benelux and will be part of a team.
Role Involves:- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly closing in collaboration with Finance Accountants and Financial Shared Services.
- Handling monthly reporting, forecasts, and the annual budgeting process.
- Maintaining relationships with international stakeholders and Financial Shared Services.
- Managing statutory accounting and audits, and maintaining contact with external accountants.
- Optimizing financial processes and systems.
- Developing management reports for the Benelux team.
- Providing financial support for various requests from the organization.
- Performing periodic and ad-hoc analyses.
Requirements:- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
- A finance-related education at least at HBO level.
- Interest in the figures and the story behind the figures.
- Result-oriented with the perseverance to achieve the maximum.
- Proactive and always looking for improvements.
- Experience in an international (corporate) environment.
- Excellent team player who easily builds relationships within various layers of the organization, both within the Benelux and internationally.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
- Perfect command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
