Email Infrastructure & Deliverability Lead (contract)

Job Description

Apollo.io, a leading go-to-market solution, is seeking an Email Infrastructure & Deliverability Lead to champion email deliverability. This role is pivotal in ensuring emails reach the intended inboxes, directly impacting the success of Apollo's clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of email communication.Apollo.io is looking for someone to:

• Audit and fortify Apollo’s email infrastructure
• Consult with enterprise clients to diagnose and resolve deliverability challenges
• Innovate with our R&D teams on developing tools that predict and prevent deliverability risks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience owning deliverability for large-scale email operations (10M+ sends/month).
• Strong knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI, and emerging authentication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with deliverability tools like Google Postmaster, MXToolbox, Everest, 250ok, and leading ESPs (SendGrid, Mailgun, etc.).
• Proven track record of resolving spam traps, blacklistings, and sender reputation challenges.
