Solutions Architect, Commercial (Dublin)

dbt Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Field Engineering team in Dublin, Ireland. This role is hybrid, requiring the candidate to be in the office three days a week. The Solutions Architect will be instrumental in leading the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of dbt for dbt Labs' largest enterprise and commercial customers. The ideal candidate should be fluent in German.

What This Role Involves:

• Designing enterprise-grade data pipelines with dbt Cloud.
• Communicating the technical value of the dbt Labs suite of products.
• Guiding customers through proof-of-concept implementations and facilitating trials of dbt Cloud.
• Deploying dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients.
• Owning the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation to product adoption and expansion.
• Building and maintaining the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
• Building close relationships with partners and enabling them to adopt and implement dbt for their clients.
• Being an active member of the dbt community.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting experience in data operations, analytics, or BI.
• A solid technical background with experience in SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• A firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures.
• Excellent communication skills to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
