Design System Designer at OKX

OKX is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Design System Designer to enhance its design system. This role is based in Hong Kong. The Design System Designer will be responsible for empowering designers across the organization by building cohesive, accessible, and high-quality experiences for customers.

The individual will lead and evolve OKX's multi-platform design system, create intuitive documentation, and iterate on new components that evolve OKX's visual and interaction patterns. This involves supporting the design system through evaluative research, mockups, prototypes, and thoughtful interaction design.

What this role involves:

• Designing, refining, and documenting intuitive and robust components.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to define initiatives and create a world-class Design System.
• Designing micro interactions, transitions, and animations.
• Designing icons, components, and asset libraries, including documentation.
• Evangelizing systems thinking and consistent, high-quality craft.
• Collaborating with Product Design, Brand, and Product leadership.
• Elevating design quality through feedback and design thinking workshops.
• Remaining current on industry and design trends.
• Working closely with Engineering to build robust components in Figma.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design role.
• Experience in design systems and data visualizations.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with designing for multiple platforms.
• Systems thinking and experience building Design Systems and components in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
• Experience using data to inform and measure the impact of work.
• Results-driven and adaptive to changes.
