Senior Design System Designer

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Senior Design System Designer to enhance their design system. The designer will empower other designers to create cohesive and accessible experiences for customers. This role involves evolving the multi-platform design system, creating documentation, and iterating on components.

The Senior Design System Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define initiatives and develop a world-class design system. They will design micro-interactions, icons, and asset libraries, while also promoting systems thinking throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, refining, and documenting intuitive components for the OKX Design System.
• Partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
• Designing micro-interactions and animations.
• Creating icons, components, and asset libraries.
• Promoting systems thinking and consistent design quality.
• Collaborating with Product Design, Brand, and Product leadership.
• Elevating design quality through feedback and design thinking workshops.
• Staying current with industry trends.
• Working with Engineering to build stateful components in Figma.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design with a focus on design systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with designing for multiple platforms.
• Experience building Design Systems in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
• Experience using data to inform design decisions.
