Senior Data Scientist

Job Description

Visier is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Berlin, Germany. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Data Science and collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software developers, and product managers to extract insights from Visier's data assets.Visier provides organizations with a Workforce AI Edge, offering AI-powered capabilities to understand the relationship between people and work, elevate employee productivity, and adapt to change faster. The company is a global leader in AI-powered people analytics, workforce planning, and compensation management solutions.What this role involves:

• Leveraging data to support the creation of business applications.
• Analyzing and understanding data.
• Researching, developing, and evaluating advanced statistical models.
• Implementing and testing production-level algorithms.

What candidate should bring to the table:

• A Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of industry experience working with mathematical modelling and advanced statistical techniques.
• Expert-level coding skills in Python, SQL, and experience with common machine learning libraries.
• Solid experience with natural language processing techniques is a strong asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
