Job Description
Chainguard is seeking a Technical Enablement Manager to strategically implement key business initiatives. This role supports new and existing frontline team members, equipping them with the necessary information, skills, and behaviors to succeed. The Technical Enablement Manager will align with technical GTM teams, including Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Customer Success Management, and Technical Support Engineering. They will partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and provide relevant support.

What this role involves:
  • Building relationships with leadership and teams in Sales Engineering and Customer Success.
  • Defining the strategy/roadmap for Technical Enablement.
  • Developing demo methodologies and certification programs.
  • Partnering with Product and Product Marketing teams for technical field readiness.
  • Coaching sales teams for continuous education on industry and product.
  • Institutionalizing knowledge across technical teams.
  • Providing structured feedback and coaching to technical teams.
  • Designing optimal learning experiences.
  • Building, delivering, and managing role-based technical onboarding programs.
  • Building technical programming into LMS.
  • Delivering technical training in virtual and in-person environments.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in Linux-based environments.
  • Experience as a sales engineer or customer success manager within the enterprise SaaS space.
  • 2+ years of progressive responsibility in technical enablement experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Container technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker).
  • Proficient knowledge with Cloud technology (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
  • Awareness of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FIPS, STIG, PCI-DSS.
  • Top-notch communicator, presenter, and facilitator.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Expert ability to build relationships.
