Job Description
Velocity Electronics is seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Singapore. This role involves leading and supporting a team of Sellers and Business Development Managers, ensuring exceptional customer experience and outcomes. The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales.
- Staff, train, and direct the regional Sales department
- Provide leadership, management, and support for Velocity’s Sellers
- Develop sales activities and standards, including outbound calls, quotations, and CRM usage
- Lead the achievement of maximum revenue and margin growth
- Establish plans and strategies to expand Velocity’s customer base
- Maintain strategies for cost avoidance and mitigation
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of Sellers
- Conduct one-on-one reviews with Sellers
- Create and conducts customer presentations as needed
- Maintain awareness of and monitor performance relative to the market
- Meet regularly with senior management to report on Sales Team performance
- Troubleshoot sales and coordinate with purchasing and other departments on process issues
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer-related activity
- Maintain regular contact with key partners to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent; 4-year college degree preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience in the electronic components industry; 2-years in sales management preferred
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
- Computer literate: experience with complex ERP systems preferred
