Job Description
Velocity Electronics is seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Singapore. This role involves leading and supporting a team of Sellers and Business Development Managers, ensuring exceptional customer experience and outcomes. The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales.
  • Staff, train, and direct the regional Sales department
  • Provide leadership, management, and support for Velocity’s Sellers
  • Develop sales activities and standards, including outbound calls, quotations, and CRM usage
  • Lead the achievement of maximum revenue and margin growth
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand Velocity’s customer base
  • Maintain strategies for cost avoidance and mitigation
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of Sellers
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews with Sellers
  • Create and conducts customer presentations as needed
  • Maintain awareness of and monitor performance relative to the market
  • Meet regularly with senior management to report on Sales Team performance
  • Troubleshoot sales and coordinate with purchasing and other departments on process issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and customer-related activity
  • Maintain regular contact with key partners to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 4-year college degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the electronic components industry; 2-years in sales management preferred
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management
  • Computer literate: experience with complex ERP systems preferred
