Velocity Electronics is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to work with a portfolio of key customer accounts. The role involves sustaining long-term business relationships and delivering exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating and maintaining strategic customer relationships
  • Selling a portfolio of key accounts
  • Assisting in the implementation of global sales and purchasing strategies
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer structure, culture, and needs
  • Managing and facilitating individual training in sales, sourcing, and throughput
  • Ensuring accurate entry of customer requirements in Velocity's ERP system
  • Consistently delivering on monthly and quarterly gross profit sales goals
  • Representing and communicating Velocity’s culture, values, and value proposition
  • Providing immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs
  • Completing detailed sales data records regarding contracts, quotations, and customer interactions in Velocity's ERP system
  • Creating and presenting periodic reports detailing customer interactions and sales/gross profit totals

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (4-year college degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the electronic components industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, product knowledge, and account management
  • Computer literacy with complex ERP systems preferred
