Back-End Engineer Institutional, Trading Platform

Job Description

Blockchain.com is seeking a Back-End Engineer to join its Institutional team in London. The ideal candidate will contribute to building low latency, scalable, and highly performant trading services in RUST. The role involves enhancing and maintaining Order Management System (OMS) functionality, ensuring efficient order execution in a high-frequency trading environment. This is a hybrid role, where the candidate can work from home and office.

The Back-End Engineer will work alongside a dedicated engineering team committed to improving systems and will be at the forefront of the cryptocurrency exchange ecosystem, building new financial services and architecture. The candidate is expected to ensure security is a priority, employing advanced encryption schemes to secure data and collaborate with other tech teams to improve performance.

Requirements:

• Experience in C++ and/or Rust
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience in trading systems architecture
• Basic understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases and distributed systems
